What a cute little monster

Ella-mo

Well Ella has made it through her second Halloween. She was the cutest Elmo I have ever seen. She loved her costume, but even more than that she loved going door to door to get candy. Kristin and I had a great time. We visited the grandparents and uncle Everett’s house before retreating home to pass out candy. All in all it was great start to the holiday season. We can’t wait for x-mas.

Yet another month has gone by and the time is still flying!

I can’t believe that summer is over and Thanksgiving is less than a month away.

Yet another month has gone by and the time is still flying.  I can’t believe that summer is over and Thanksgiving is less than a month away.  It seems like Ella went from baby to toddler overnight and she learns new things every day.  She is constantly saying new words and loves “reading” books.  Elmo has also become a favorite of hers and she loves her new slippers.  She is becoming quite an expert with her spoon and fork but she still gets me to help her almost every dinner.

We took our first family vacation in August and she also spent her first day at the beach which she loved!  We spent a few days at Mystic and I think her favorite part of the trip was running up and down the hallway.  She did like the fish and the penguins too but she would have been just as happy if we never left the hotel!

In September, she got her first haircut and she was so good!  She also got to meet Brobie-she loved him from a distance but was a little scared of him when he tried to give her a hug.   She also started swimming lessons a few weeks ago and is having a blast.  The second session will start this week, she is becoming a real fish!

Hopefully more updates to come soon but here are some new pictures and videos.  Also, new pictures posted on elladonner.shutterfly.com.  Can't wait for Thanksgiving and Christmas!
